(7 isn't even started yet! this was previously #6)
Well over a year past becoming a yinglet and coordination's still taken a pretty major hit -- though to be fair, the fact that I have to swing my ankles wide to slap these panels and only one of the arcade's dance machines had a screen I could *see* should've each been clear indications this is a humanoids-only device

Braver than Vayryn. ^_^
She took one look at the dance pad and decided she didn't want to risk it without some form of protective footwear. Those things have metal brackets and screw heads to hold the panels on. She did that ONCE. She wore sandals to work back at the arcade, and then tried to play some DDR after her shift. But the sandals kept trying to come off and messing things up, so she kicked them off and went to play barefoot. ...She regretted it when her foot came down on a corner piece.
Then again, being lighter now, maybe it wouldn't be so bad? That's assuming she can even trigger them. (She probably can. The panels have a sensor along each edge, and the game registers a press as long as any one of the sensors is activated. Even splitting her weight in half, 15-20 pounds of force should be able to trigger one... I never experimented to see just how much it takes, I admit. ^_^;; )

It was less "bravery" and more "not zhinking zhrough za logistics". Same as za decision to slip zhem off and go barefoot... Zhough, za panels ARE quite a lot bigger now, would be much easier to be accurate. Hm... Maybe...
(Vayryn is pretty much a total self-insert, so (almost) everything I've been through, she's been through. ^_^;; )
