Once we were all done with our food Randy started bringing everyone to the van.
I WANTED to follow my flock, to follow Randy but...

Baxter: "Oww!!"
"My ankles..."
"They feel like their on fire..."

Randy: "Are ya okay?"

Baxter: "No..."
"I feel like I'm not going to baa, to be able to walk."

Randy: "Well I reckon I gotta carry ya then."

Baxter: "Wha-WHAT?!"
Randy gently brought his arms underneath me and cradled me in my arms.

Randy: "Does that make it baa, better?"

Baxter: "I guess."

Randy: "Well yer smiling so I'll say it worked."

Baxter: "Can, you hold still for little?"

Randy: "Course."

I tilted my head towards his and started nuzzling him, and he nuzzled his face against mine.
While I felt a little embarrassed doing this in public, It would feel even more embarrassing if I did something crazy like kissing him.
I mean the rest of the flock snuggles with each other all the time, so this isn't necessarily something EXCLUSIVELY romantic.
