Hunter is a very mellow and laid back kind of guy.
He can’t be bothered with getting into fights or scraps and does his best to avoid them. He’d much sooner just talk and try to dispel the tension from the atmosphere than resort to aggression or violence.
That's not to say he won't fight if he has to, but that it's very rare for him to do so and more often than not it's in self defence.
