RattataLord drew this pic for me as a request. I decided to attach a little story to it while I was at it.

It had taken Raine several months searching through various spell books he'd collected but he finally believed he'd found the right formula. The spell Raine was trying to find was for a friend he'd made in another world he visited fairly often. It was a world where surprisingly pokemon met with the Mushroom Kingdom amoung other various bits and pieces thrown in. His friend was a Rattata of lordly stature as he understood it named Nate. He found this ironic since he knew his own creator's name was Nathaniel (Nate for short even). In that particular world, vore existed but reform was a bit trickier. His buddy had been eaten several times before but through one way or another had survived each time. Raine was fearful for that 1 in 100 chance (purely a guess he wasn't sure of the exact ratio) that the next time Nate was eaten, it would be for the last time. So he went about crafting a spell to place upon a charm that, so long as the charm was intact, Nate would always reform whenever he was unfortunately digested. Now that he'd finally crafted it, he placed it upon a safe shelf in his own room within his master's mind home, where it would forever be safe and then popped over to Nate's world. Smiling when he found his friend quickly, he walked up to the Rattata and greeted him with a hug.

"Hiya RL!" Raine said, using the nickname for his normal-type buddy. "I've got some good news for you."

"What?" the Rattata asked.

"I finished that charm I promised you." Raine answered, lifting the Rattata up. "Now you shouldn't have to worry about being digested and not respawning anymore! We've just gotta test it and it's all set!"

"Wait! Test it how?" RL asked, worried that he already knew. He was answered by Raine's maw opening wide and getting stuffed down the slick slide of the Riolu's gullet. RL squirmed and protested all the way down. When he plopped into the belly he could already feel the stomach acids rising. "Hey! Lemme out!"

"Sorry RL." Raine said, casting the final spell to attach RL's essence to the charm with one paw, rubbing soothingly over the Rattata bulge in the other. "Can't do that. We gotta digest you to test if it'll work or not. This is just one way I have to protect you. I promised to guard you remember?"

Raine smiled a little sadly as RL cried in his belly. He knew the Rattata didn't like being eaten all that much, even worse when he was digested. But he had promised to protect him, and protect him he would, even if it meant nomming him from time-to-time to do it...


Just to let everyone know, RL does NOT in fact like being eaten. There are a couple he trusts to nom him but even I'm not one of those yet (I don't think anyways >.>). Also, normally Raine wouldn't nom somebody who wasn't at least partially willing and he almost never does a painful digestion (prey has to deserve it for that). That's as high as the acids are gonna go and those flakes in there are either RL's shirt (don't worry buddy, the charm'll reform clothes too ^.^) or Raine forgot to digest the salad from his lunch completely first. Also, Raine does have a backup plan in case the charm doesn't work. He'll just reform RL, get back to work on the charm and try again sometime ^^;
