As a now mostly traditional artist, I'm quite dependant on having a functioning scanner. So oh boy did it startle me when right before NFC, just as I was about to scan some commissions, my trusty old scanner started acting up and just refusing to go through its boot-up process properly.

It's behaving again currently, fortunately, but it has definitely made me come to the realisation that our scanner is really getting on in years and very well could just... randomly kick the bucket at any point. We first got this printer/scanner combination when I was still in high school. I am turning 33 this year. Yeah. Quite impressive for a relatively cheap inkjet printer (it already no longer prints, only scans).

Now, we're not going to throw this printer away or anything, but that happening did motivate me to look into a new printer/scanner combination, that will also enable me to produce my own prints and stickers :)

I made this silly little sign on the back of an envelope while vending in the NFC Dealer's Den, which got a few chuckles = v=

Getting a new printer/scanner is currently my current goal on Ko-Fi, which you can find here! Donors can get a silly li'l doodle just like this one ;3 I'm currently eyeing one of the Epson Ecotank Printer/Scanner combinations.
