The Flufftaurs (working name) know very well that they are the chosen race of the gods, and are thus the greatest race on the planet. Many choose to help and guide the lesser races, leading by example to show them the path to righteousness. But not all. Some choose to isolate themselves from the 'lesser' races so that their lands will not be tainted by their presence, while others feel that the best way to guide the others is to conquer and rule them.
Both factions employ very similar military forces, wearing fine armor and large, deadly weapons. A charge from the heavily-armored Lancers opens every major engagement, shattering enemy formations so that the lighter troops that rush up behind can slaughter any among their disorganized foes who do not surrender to the rule that is the Flufftaur's right and duty.
More doodlan, decided to draw a not-naked flufftaur and went with armor over just clothing.
In case it isn't immediately apparent, I've also been fleshing out the setting these things are from a bit in my spare time. Like while I'm at work and have oodles of time to just ponder stuff.

Interesting. I am fond of their design. Mentality and appearance sorta makes me think "Classic Greekish," in that potentially they can see themselves as "full of wit, charm, beauty, and power" yet also hold onto such traits as "arrogance, stupidity, and vanity." Being all vein and self righteous because of the "Come on, look at us! We're soooooo naturally fluffy and pretty! We MUST be the chosen of the gods."
I find it interesting that they can be baddass heavy metal armored, but then shed their gear and be oh so soft and delicate feeling underneath.
But now I must wonder: Do they suffer from helmet/armor fur? After shedding their military gear, is a grievous amount of preening and fluffing necessary to return their bodies to that divine level of softliness? Or do these guys benefit from some supernatural "Fluffing Out +5" when free of attire constraints?
Nifty job. Cheers.
