I'll be honest I ain't good with shadows cuz they don't don't out right so I just do it to prevent the art from being flat

That's understandable... Shadows are really hard to get right. Especially when trying to convey the shapes like it's 3-dimensional. -_-

But even still, I like the art! It's better to try to use shadows, than to not use them at all. :)
