An Ascarian observes the continued eruption at the Galovara National Park. This series of fissures has been erupting continuously for the last five years, smothering the Areomin countryside under 1300 cubic kilometers of molten rock thus far.

The gasses released by these fissures will drastically alter the climate on the Ascarian homeworld, leading to a series of violent wars and their eventual unification under the Areomin Republic.
