Commissioned armour set for 
BridledDragon, kitting them out in some wonderful Renaissance metal plate. One of my favourite styles, too.
Common Land Drakes are large creatures that run the whole spectrum in temperament from stoic to hot-tempered, and this particular one is a highly regarded heavy cavalry horse for the realm of the Great Orchard.
Would you get on the saddle? Do you think you can hold on? Shael here's got a reputation of having little patience for fools and time-wasters.

Not too far off. As I understand it, AoE 2's Imperial Age corresponds with the 1400s-mid 1500s, bang right when this style of armour would be in vogue!
