The ironic part of your description comment Jagdmeute, is that most humans are probably jealous of Jag's abilities/power.

Shape-shifting, being able to regen normally fatal damage/heal via eating, effectively devouring someone and then just putting them back together like it never happened... the list of benefits Jag has at his command just goes on and on.

If anything, Jag should be proud (probably to the point of ever so slight vanity) of what he is. He's almost certainly the only demon on the planet that can walk in broad daylight without either having the Agency hounding him 24/7 or having a (metaphorically speaking) nuke strapped to his ass by said Agency. Yet, he can just as easily kill you if you threaten him or his friends.

the irony of Jag's existence is sorta the premise of the entire story, haha

Just saying, a LOT of people would probably sell their soul to have what jag does.
