Listen… I like her design a lot okay. (I may not ship her with Sidon for obvious reasons once you go through my other LoZ content, but I can still like her!) Once I got a feel for her head shape, Yona is pretty fun to draw. She earned herself a spot in my neglected physical sketchbook even!

I mean… my “obvious reasons” are a combo of feeling like Yona was very much an afterthought with how she presents in game (no voice acted lines, very flat interactions with Sidon that feel like bare minimum “romance”, very little development beyond “fiancé”, and we’re somehow supposed to buy that she’s Sidon’s old and dear childhood friend that we’ve never heard of before, let alone whatever domain she’s from) and also… because I’ve been shipping my own OC with him since 2017 or so and I have character possessive issues :U
But I’ve seen plenty of people support Sidon and Yona, it’s definitely not just you and it’s definitely not a rarity! I’m just not one of them. Hell I don’t even ship Sidlink, I see that as a platonic situation and anything else skeeves me out. People can ship what they want, though, just because I personally don’t like it doesn’t mean I have the right to police anyone else.
