I love a good prank and 'distract-and-divert' joke, but I think she may be taking it too far. Why would she want people to stop calling her Mrs. Horse? I would think it more ironic and lesson-worthy if the kids saw Shiera do all kinds of wild things with Jessie and find out again that she and Phil had always been together? It's a lesson of "Kids I hope you realize now that it doesn't matter who you are with as long as you are with the love of your life, so you don't want to judge people too harshly."
Shiera can be Mrs. Horse and it's not a bad thing, but the kids' judgements need enlightening.
