Just FYI though it looks like you have the wrong links (oh, i see, they're actually linking to just those 4 digit submission numbers before the ellipses that cut off the rest. Links to some real FA time capsules xD)

I feel I am VERY lucky to live where I do. The location is up in the North Cascades of Washington State, and the territory is very beautiful practically year round.
This particular spot is only accessible during the winter season as the area is also used as a hydro power generation reservoir. The power company drains the two lakes in the chain in the winter season, and await snowmelt in the spring to refill the two lakes to repeat the process seasonally. Its a fascinating process that powers much of the PNW.
So, In the summer time, this is what it looks like when full (taken via my Kayak) (taken from the same lake just a little further north:
