Collaboration between myself and
driprat, using his characters from the "Jack" comic. I felt they would be more appropriate for this project since his comic actually deals with the afterlife and redemption, while my own characters inhabit a very secular world where such things are not part of their existence.
This is the second to last cut on Muse's "Absolution" CD. Here is the actual song on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsNr5mCeWYA
The comic shows the character "78" (Fiver) at the end of his life, where he's reliving all the horrors he witnessed and participated in. It probably won't make much sense if you're unfamiliar with the Jack comic, but even if you aren't, hopefully the visuals will look interesting.
The art is done with Photoshop over inked hardcopy pages.
As an additional note-- on Youtube the comments about the song quickly degenerated into religious arguements. I did this project to highlight an awesome song by an awesome band, and because I thought it would be a fun and visually interesting thing for David and myself to do. So be on notice that any inflamitory or arguementive religious comments (on either side) will be dinked.

The title of the track is slightly prejudiced I suppose, in the way it singles out athiests (in the same vein of 'no athiests in foxholes') but no more so than the nigger this, nigger that and homophobic nonsense you find in a lot of rap.
The visuals do look good though. Even if I am a follower of the Jack comic and still don't quite follow what's happening here. :)
