I currently drive a 1988 Honda CRX DX. It has 366+K miles on the original motor and still gets 40MPG. Damn fun little car, nothing beats the feeling of satisfaction with a third pedal. Once I drop a D16Y8 into it, I plan on building it up to eventually run in the Pikes Peak Rally. Or whatever rally I can find around Colorado.
At least you get better MPG than a Lamborghini Murcielago if you look at it that way. Soon if all goes well, I will be inheriting my brothers 1996 Grand Cherokee. Best part is, that he is also giving me a whole drive-line to go along with it so I can build up that Magnum 5.2L into something decent.
