I like drawing and designing lions. But, uh, that second part is kinda hard. But, thankfully, I found some I liked and adopted them. They're explicitly based off of The Lion King, but since Disney doesn't own the rights to, you know, lions, I'm just gonna omit that part. ;)

Our lioness on the left is now Jiona. Her original ref has her looking on the scruffy side, so I think she prides herself as a hunter. She thinks she's the baddest warrior in the savanna - and, really, she is and is always happy to prove it. She keeps her claws sharp at all times and always have them out. She only retracts them when she's going in to touch someone without meaning harm.

Kitwana, our male lion, is as much a warrior as he is a scholar. He wants to live a simple life without conflict. Do not misunderstand his kindness for weakness, however; his father, who was the leader of his own pride, was killed and deposed by a challenger. Which means that lion would've killed him and replaced him with his own cub if his mother didn't steal him away in the dead of night and sent him away. He doesn't want to fight, but can and will.
