Human version of Brutus from "The Secret of NIMH", for my AU "Mrs. Brisby and the Bund of NIMH". One of the victims of NIMH's experiment, he lost his parents from the prison camp gas massacre, and after the escape, he was appointed as the gate guard of IM-Humans' colony Bund inside the Rose Bush Forest.

Initially wary of Mrs. Elizabeth Brisby, but soften up when she offered him meals during days IM-Humans help her family moving house while guarding as her cooking brought up fond memories of his mother he almost forgot. He was saved second time at near end when he was nearly dying from poisonous gas in the Rose Bush forest after saving the survived IM-Humans but was healed back to health by Mr. Ages and Elizabeth. When Justin was appointed as one of the IM-Humans council members, Brutus was appointed as new captain of the guard.
