Caring for a big (and growing) family is a major responsibility, one that Miles "Tails" Prower takes quite seriously. Having a wife over 12 feet tall and counting and a 6-year old daughter at 8 feet tall and growing more every day demands a lot of resources. Being the smallest in the family, most would find that task daunting at best and overwhelming at worst.
But not Tails.
He took it as a challenge to be met. Long gone were the days of insecurity and lack of confidence in his own abilities. Now he was a pillar of strength to be leaned on regardless of his comparatively dwindling stature compared to the girls in his life.
Working as a part-time hero with Sonic and his friends and a full-time contractor for G.U.N. has afforded Tails the means to make sure that his family would not only survive, but thrive. No one else on the whole planet (at least on the side of justice) could compare to Tails' genius, which made him an indispensable commodity. So he was paid very handsomely for his work on various projects, ranging from weapons, armor, mechs and even raw power sources.
Not that that stops Mocha from being curious about her father's work from time to time. Normally, she's welcome in his lab. But there are those times where a particularly dangerous project forces Tails to bar the door on his precious daughter. But even then, Mocha will still peek through the window to see what her daddy's working on next.
