Is she a dragon with her furry antena, scaly body and pointy teeth? Or a lobster with them sharp claws and shiney exoskeleton?
idk, but a lobster oc would be so coool! Like, how does she use things? would she have hands? OH! the got the big class but also a second smaller set of hands, coz they do have small claws irl to help eat food! OH boi I really wanna fully design this now, hehe.
Um, right the main point.
I've done a handfull of more attempts useing gradient maps, one of em was done purely with me eyeballing it.. but I hated that tbh, so gave in and did sketches first.
This image is a sketch one, but also I tried to put in some subtle line work useing the same method as the coloring. Its not bad!
I did try doing a propper line art and then doing the color with this messy sketchy style, but they just conflicted too much so its not gonna work that easily. But never fear! Ill try learning a much messier line art, learn coz I don't want an actual mess but an intentional mess.
Oh and would anyone like me to post when I go live on here? Like, wip up a quick drawing to show it and upload/remove it based on if I'm live?
