'We're losers baby' ❤️
Ships of characters really down on their luck supporting each other through the worst times are my therapy 💓
The idea for this crossover came to me after watching Hazbin Hotel - the 'Loser Baby' song from Hazbin Hotel reminds me a bit of the ending of Aggretsuko Season 3 with Retsuko and Haida (the 'Sounds Chicken To Me' part) - some people claim its victim blaming, but it feels more like Haida and Husk are both saying to Retsuko and Angel 'We're both not doing well in extremely stressful, messed up situations and a load of people are in the same boat, but we can't just run from it forever - people like us have others to lean on to support us so let's embrace it and we'll make it through ❤️ ' And then it reminded me of the Proximity scene in Night in the Woods where Mae says to Bea that they are both in a terrible situation and they are the best company for each other at that moment in time.
And so, a triple crossover idea was born. ❤️

I'll be honest, I was a pretty big critic of Aggretsuko S3, mostly because I felt the trauma of being attacked and than immediate Haida coming to say "hey stop being a chicken shit" always felt pretty :T to me as someone with that trauma. I do like these takes though, sometimes you just need to say life sucks, but hey, let's deal with it together is what I'm getting from this. :D
