Cellborn Genesect are volunteers who are trusted with the important job of maintaining the tree and acting as the last line of defense in an emergency. These bugs can shoot a special type of goo that hardens fast to clot the energy streams through the tree and incapacitate intruders in what is essentially quick drying concrete. Like their metal counterparts, they can change their type of their 'techno' blast attack by switching an item. The difference is that instead of team plasma's type drives, they use evolution stones. These Cellborn are strong, fast, and vital to operations, but can't take hits well so they are always escorted outside of the tree, if they leave at all. Regardless, these glass canons are a vital part of the team in their support/ranged attacking role
