Maverick (trade with necronaut)
my half of a trade with 
necronaut ! i've never drawn an elephant shrew before, so drawing his OC Maverick was both a treat and a welcome challenge for me（〃｀ 3′〃）i was originally just gonna have him looking dazed or possibly hammered in this sitting pose, but at some point my brain went "ya know what? this looks like a guy who should be soaking wet".
i gave stein three characters of mine to pick from, and as i'm posting this i have not checked to see its half of our trade, so i'm looking forward to see how that turned out! hope you like my take on Maverick! (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) definitely check out his page for some awesome art and characters.

OK OK first of all he is ABSOLUTELY a guy who deserves to be in his soakest, moppest, wettest state ever 24/7, you’re absolutely right!!
god i don’t even know where to begin--the pose, the expression, the way you’ve rendered the leather highlights and the bits where his jeans are ripped, i just love the movement and effect in all of these places--THE SNOUT!!!! the pathetic long tail cowering between his legs!! the inward curling of the toes!!! i want to glue this art to my wall, my godddd
