Well, more than birds. In addition to being a better shot of the remains of the dormitory, you can see most of Embaracadero road from here. Okay, you can't actually see the road, but you can see the piers. Pier 39 especially, but if you were to look carefully, you'd see a handful of old ships (including a World War II diesel submarine) and the pier that we left to get to the island. Oh, and Ghiradelli Square (I misspelled it, but I don't care). The big mass of green off to the right side is part of Golden Gate park.
