Well, January is almost done and a lot of things have happened! I have been writing essays about college so far and typing is quite fun once you get the hang of it.
Last week on Saturday, I was at an antique store and I found an authentic Forty-Eight Star Flag which costed $22.00. The flag was old and a bit tea-stained, and my first historic flag to my collection.
Also, I stitched two Captain’s Colors Flags (Yacht Sized and Flagpole Sized. The flags took me a couple nights to finish, but these are my third and fourth renditions on the flag and they look a little better than the last two.
The melody is still in the work in progress!
I also did some art of the Buck Brothers Flag in the early morning hours, and I was practicing how to use my other markers to get the other colors.
Well, I hope there will be a day the flag flies in the “Journey of the Flag.”
