The Cellborn have their own "cloning machine" although the cloning function is much less used. Instead the primary function is to take volunteers and transform them into fresh Cellborn recruits. The entrance gate has a wooden corral to prevent accidental entry and a crystal entrance. The exit is mostly vine and moss focused, where it dispenses the eggs like a Gacha machine and the eggs are caught by the smooth side of some crystals. Elisa and Amari are the girls in charge of this machine's maintenance and improvement.

The machine itself takes in DNA to create clones or an individual to create a Cellborn. Elisa then selects the species for said individual from the control station. If the individual is a pokemon already, they become a standard Cellborn, however, if they were a human they sacrifice their humanity permanently. In exchange they become elite Cellborn.

Elite Cellborn are indistinguishable from normal Cellborn, but they cannot be turned into an LCU. The girls speculate this is because the tree rejects humans, even when mew allows them entry, and makes them permanently a pokemon to fix that. The process does make them more useful in combat against LCU, but the girls discourage humans from joining their pokemon in the transformation unless they insist
