Rocket turned into the perfectly adorkable sterotype of a nerd. Also, I imagined some reality alteration at play.
Rocco the raccoon has always had a crush on his classmate, the punk leather-clad cool dude Grover Rootheim the flora colossus, but gosh and dagnabbit, he's a lisping, stammering mess whenever he's in close enough proximity. It doesn't help that Grover has such a way with words it makes Rocco near swoon and need his inhaler every time they've spoken to each other. He might not say much, but Grover is a charmer, at least that's what Rocky thinks.
