I hope Jabba’s AC is working; the last thing we want is for our favorite Shistavanen to get heatstroke.

I’m curious as to the details of the trouble the Chistori has caused. Did he steal something? Betray Jabba? Free slaves?


How do you make every scene and page so intriguing?

I think inside Jabba´s palace the temperatures will be comfortable.

I decided on that detail not be revealed, so the readers could come up with their own possible "crime" this Chistori has commited for to be set a bounty out for him.

That´s why they are wearing the robes, ponchos and long capes in white, to reflect the heat and although they can sweat, they need to pant with lollyng tongues to cool them further down.

The details you put in the beards and hair of the Shistavanen were always one of the main appeals of this comic to me. It's sweet to see the same applied to the scales of Zorrn.

A shame that despite this being a Sci Fi World I've not once seen an umbrella in Star Wars since they were originally created as sun-shades.

We're it not so hot, or Voolvif not with them, I wouldn't be surprised if the Howling Cerberus bound Zorrn's feet and made him bunny hop.

Now that you mention it

Maybe they would do such naughty games with a captive.

Just imagine one of those umbrella swords but a lightsaber ... and the shade could be a plasma or cortosis shield ... Lop had an umbrella, maybe she could retrofit her lightsaber into it.

Oh these scenes are great! They have such a awesome sci fi wildwest feel to them just like season 1 of The Mandalorian. =D

Unfortunately I have not seen the Mandalorian yet. (Have got no Disney plus)

Some particularly fine detail here in the first and second panel with Zornn's scale patterning and spikes, and for all of his continued and in the circumstances understandable snarling, verbal threats and defiance he does have a certain charm to him. Though my thought with him is that to a certain extent it's bluster, that he'd be formidable in a fight though not a killer as such, more of a scoundrel really and perhaps having had a stroke of misfortune much as Han Solo did to get himself in trouble with the Hutt, in any case he's swiftly becoming another favourite.

Again as well some nice detail with the lolling tongues, fur and hair of the Shistavanen whom will certainly be relieved to get into the interior of Jabba's palace even with all it's perils. At least the air will be somewhat cooler within and it will be rather pleasant feeling something other than hot desert sand under their feet.

Probably a bit of a misunderstanding as well given that Shistavanen are rarely seen outside of the Uvena system let alone an entire pack, it might have been that Gamorrean guard's first time seeing them particularly if he was a relatively recent recruit. As for Peer, given that he's bareheaded and does have a rather thick beard and shaggy head fur, he might well be particularly hot and bothered and so understandable he might act up a bit with the goofiness.

I am not certain myself if I shouls reveal the reasons why Zorrn has a bouty on his head or not. It would be nice to leave that as a mystery so that readers could come up with their own interpretation of this character.
