X has been testing out a new portal system developed by the Maverick Hunters. He manages to create one portal on the floor and another which floats in midair, but right before he can reach his hand into the former, he slips and falls on his rear, and his legs end up inside the portal right in front of him, resulting in his feet sticking out of the other portal. However, an inexplicable phenomenon or error in the portals results in part of his boots disappearing upon entering the portal in the floor, leaving his feet bare in the other. The Azure Hunter realizes the portal system will need some additional tinkering, but at least his feet can get some fresh air~
