As Yosh has a team of Pokemon, it is only fitting that Celeste has some Poke Pals of her own.
This image was one that I had wanted to do for a few years now. As you'd guess, Yosh was originally to be sharing quality time with these two adorable DUCKLETTs. However, I am far happier with Celeste being partnered up with the normal and shiny diapered ducklings.

So why does Celeste like having DUCKLETT around? The answer is that, unlike Yosh, the little nuthatch cannot swim. She has seen Yosh swim and wants to enjoy the water like her male counterpart, but her birdie body is just not built for more than just playing in puddles and bird baths. So, to allow Celeste to ensure she is both safe and having fun at the pool, or pond, Yosh and Papa Lucca found her these two quackers who needed a friend who could provide them a home filled with love and all the Peat moss they can fill their tummies with.

Precisely! Lucca helped me to create Celeste while you are the mastermind behind Penelope and Phoebe.
I'm planning on trying to do a little write-up on the relevance / inspiration behind each of these characters. (This will also include Yosh's family of Winry, Mellony, and Duckers O'Ducky. However, unlike those previously mentioned, I did the majority of creation for Yosh's mother, father, and little sis.).

Thank you very much, sweetie. *Offers a gentle hug* It is art I wanted to have done for a long time. It is nice to also be able to give special Pokemon to Celeste since, a few years ago, I worked with Ari / Sapphire to give Yosh a full team of six Pokemon.
Over time, I hope to find Celeste four more Pokemon. However, for now, these are her Starter Pokemon. :)

I've heard of it, but do not know much more than how it is safe from a lawsuit by Nintendo thanks to laws that permit the making of Parodies / Jokes of legally protected Intellectual Properties (IPs).

Well, in my humble opinion and only with what I've been seeing of the game. It looks pretty much like only a meme game good for content creators on Youtube and Twitch, basically because all of the randomg things can happen there. People says it is indeed fun and has some interesting features like crafting things and using your pals to develop certain tasks, but, well visually for me it looks basically like Fortnite with some minor changes. I don't know, for me the game does not have a soul, it is just a joke of itself. But, with all the random stuff you can find there, well, I'm pretty sure a couple of pals are cutie, but well... not cutter than in Pokémon almost for sure.
