I had talked about the modern art sculpture in the center of the room. Here it is. I have nicknamed it "Thylacine's Return" for purpose of the gallery's theme. Though, the actual filename is 'Hideous' and isnt it? And the 'egg' and the attacked flanges will rotate slowly in one direction while the reddish metal 'helix' will rotate slightly faster in the opposite direction. Everything else just sits there.

Currently, working on the lighting. Its going to be generally dark (might make it a touck darker than this) except for the spotlights on the artwork. The modern art sculpture has 4 spotlights built into the base shining up from below. 2 of them are shining on the 'egg' while the other 2 are shining on the ring. THere will be additional light shining down on the reddish metal 'helix' from inside the opening at the bottom of the 'egg.' There are also 2 'track lights' shining down on it from the ceiling, with the remaining 6 shining on the artwork.

All of this was done in Lightwave 6.5. The room has taken a bt over 2 hours and the modern art was thrown together in like 15 minutes. Took random bits off spaceships I had built and slapped them together with some retexturing. Perfect for artwork no one is going to understand (effing modern art.)
