Indeed. He went a long way from a hero to a wanted criminal, betrayed, almost killed, fell into desperation and is now feeling the warmth of comfort and solace.

Garwaff has scars on his chest as well as his face. Makes you wonder who or what did that to him.

Also, I like the panel of the three of them going back in the ship.

The story of his scars will be told a little bit later. Voolvif and the readers will learn about the backstories of the Howling Cerberus crew in flashbacks.

Thanks. This panel should symbolise, that Voolvif is led out of darkness and cold back into the light and warmth. Both literally and in a symbolic way.

Brilliant storytelling.

Garwaff showing that he's literally a Shistavanen who would give you the shirt or rather cloak of his back, with a good show of his gentle and compassionate nature. The near freezing temperatures of the desert at night wouldn't have done much for Voolvif's health given he's currently got a long road ahead with his recovery, so at least he's being brought back into the warmth and light both figuratively and literally here.

As always some wonderful work with the expressive Shistavanen faces.
