Speculative Skull Island Bullshit: Aloe tortoise
The aloe tortoise is a large chelonian living in a symbiotic relationship with a large species of aloe, which it uses both as a means of camouflage as well as a source of nutrition. The roots of the aloe are connected to the tortoise's bloodstream, exchanging sugars for water and minerals. The animal is fairly passive, preferring to lie in one spot for days without moving, further camouflaged by the extensife alga covering on its body. The turtle aloe is a species well-adapted to its lifestyle, both with its roots adapted to grow into the tortoise's shell without causing damage and with its fruit adapted to be distributed onto new hosts. Seeds that fall onto the ground are capable of germinating, but the resulting plants will usually remain small and rarely mature to reproduction. The aloe leaves can be used for medicine; the Iwi tend to collect those leaves broken off, which happens aplenty when the tortoises mate; it is believed that cutting leaves off a tortoise will soil the leaves. Coming too close to a tortoise will make it flee, but they are also known to defend their plants from herbivores by biting. The aloe tortoise is only distantly related to the magma turtle, another giant tortoise inhabiting Skull Island.
Changelog:
-Some minor nitpicking by renaming it to "aloe tortoise", which is slightly more correct due to it being a terrestrial chelonian rather than a marine one.
-The original design was rather featureless, so ordinary giant tortoise appearance with alga growths it is.
-Spinelike scutes on the head
The Disney character overlays are a measure to prevent art theft by corporations.

Well, looks like accidentally uploading the the wrong file and fixing it before finishing the submission process makes FA upload the old file still. Good thing FA isn't the site that has my art landing where it doesn't belong, so most likely no corporation art theft risk here.
