That's probably going to be the case, but at least Roko is trying to make things right.

Hopefully Roko can get the Eye Stone without getting caught by Darya or if Roko does gets caught by Darya, hopefully Roko uses the Eye Stone to swap his soul with Darya's soul to undo Darya's contracts with Brand and Saida so they can be free from her control before Darya sings and make Dolphin Roko explode like Fish Roko.

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling that this could happen in the near future, if Roko plays his cards right. Only time will tell.

Saida is doing the opposite, that’s what she is even saying to Brand, but he doesn’t understand what she means right there. But she is working with the contract by using careful wordings and thoughts that are within the scope allowed by the contract to get a step closer to that same goal.

Honestly, makes sense that she’d be good at that given her upbringing living under a similar tyrannical ruler

Roko is the dolphin and lost his original body but has a backup balloon version of it

Nah it's just that he's fighting it or doing/saying things it doesn't allow him to. Saida isn't resisting so we don't see it affecting her as much

Dolphin Roko is here to try to save the day!!!! Hopefully Roko can make it to The Treasury Under The Pantheon, so he can grab the Eye Stone without getting caught by Darya.

Hopefully if Darya does catch Dolphin Roko in the act that he can use the eye stone to swap his soul with Darya, so he can get rid of "Darya's contracts" with Brand and Saida and lose Darya's control over Brand and Saida before Darya sings and causes Dolphin Roko to inflate and explode just like Fish Roko...... but only time will tell.

Roko is the only one who can save Brand and Saida from Darya's control. Dolphin Roko has to be super smart and sly to pull it off. Best of luck on Roko on his journey to help Brand and Saida and for Roko to have a good redemption arc.

Roko's never shown that kind of power. What he did with the fish seems to have been a spur of the moment thing that we do not know how he pulled off.

My money is still on Roko being almost no help, he's an idiot villain, and Darya's no fool.

Roko has been shown with the capability of fully transferring his soul into other animals while another soul is in there but I think that he hasn't matter the skill and only can could it with weaker bodies/weaker souls than his. The only reason he did it with the fish is because it was spur of the moment and the fish had a weaker soul possessing it at the time, but maybe his powers get stronger if he tries to use that power while using the Eye Stone? That's all I was saying. The same thing can be said about him destroying bodies of animals when he ate the souls of the bugs and destroyed their body. That was a one time thing and spur of the moment, but I bet if he tried it again that he would be able to do it again. Now he might or might not be able to master that again to bigger creatures like Darya, but he could probably do it to smaller fishes. But we don't know about that until he tries it again. We don't know but if Roko continues to work on his skills of destroying bodies when he eats their souls just like if he works on transferring his souls to bigger and stronger fish more often...... maybe he can master both of those powers and use them again Darya? I know that she is no fool, but she is super naive. We just have to wait to see what happens because anything can happen in a Virmir Comic.

Roko will probably do something stupid and make some mistakes on the way to try to free Brand and Saida from Darya because that seems to be Roko's nature, but at least he is trying to do better. Darya is no fool, but she is super naive and I think that Darya being naive is going to be her downfall. I think Darya will get defeated as part of her being naive being her downfall, but it will take a while before will that happen to her. Roko will probably make some mistakes, but he might do one thing lucky to help defeat Darya or to help release Brand and Saida from their "contracts" with Saida. It is just going to take time.

That is true that in the past Roko was very selfish and only cares for himself. That is why they are in the current situation of not being in their current bodies because of Roko's greediness and Roko is always super greedy by trying to eat the most amount of souls as possible.

It is highly possible that if Roko didn't owe Brand a big debt that he would be out of there already, it is highly possible that Roko is still super greedy with him eating a lot of souls, and that Roko has a less cause to remain because he can't be revived again, but the point is that he is still trying to help Brand and Saida, even if doing that may cost him his life. Maybe he will screw up, maybe he won't...... but I give Roko a lot of respect for even trying to help Saida and Brand, even if he is just doing it because he owes Brand a huge debt? At least he is trying. But maybe this is Roko's redemption arc and maybe Roko has a chance to prove to Brand and Saida that he can contribute to the team as well..... because Roko is the only person right now that even has a chance to save Brand and Saida from their current situation. Only time will tell. We will just have to wait and see.

Roko's not a villain

Well, he caused every conflict so far, so he KIND of counts as a villain. If not that, then he's the friend everyone wishes would go away.

Every conflict? He wasn't involved with the siren when Brand and Saida were lured away. He's a clumsy friend and I think he just needs a little more control.

I meant every conflict before here, ticking off the Quetz Queen, getting the forest guardian on their backs, messing up the ritual... And being the reason the eye ended up in the ocean to begin with, iirc.

Saida appears to be a natural at figuring out how to lay plans in advance, given the sort of family she grew up with, but poor at following them through.
Roko of course is scheming and working from the shadows, but causes trouble he has to then get out of.
Brand is the creature of action who is best at unleashing force when the path is clear, but struggles against awkward restrictions and weird puzzle combat.

Together they will be unstoppable, if they can avoid getting each other into shenanigans. (They will always get each other into shenanigans. That is their curse and their gift.)
