On the upside, Brand and Saida have found what they actually have been searching for, and this wouldn’t have been possible without a means to investigate Darya's Stash of “fallen” treasure.
It’s pretty weird though, that even though the Eye Gem doesn’t actually belong to the witch, the charm automatically made them give up on taking back the Eye Gem.
After all, last page showed us two “servants” attempting to steal from the witch. If Darya could make contracts that prevent theft, there wouldn’t be a need to assign Brand and Saida on watch duty.
Hopefully, the fact that the contract only stops them from acting in their own interests means that Roko would be able to take it back. Of course, this just means that Roko’s “job” to steal the contract is critical now they have achieved their main goal.

Might just depend on what she needs them for. Treasure-gatherers don't need a huge amount of binding or supervision except to keep them from stealing or running away. These two are more being taken into Darya's inner circle, so she's binding them good and tight to minimize the chance of betrayal. She's not a stupid villain, quite the contrary.
Even if they swapped bodies, they’d still be stuck underwater. Regardless whether they are in their own bodies or each other’s, they’d still be bound to Darya due to their signature being on the same contract.
And it goes without saying that Darya cannot find out about this incredibly important and powerful artifact, otherwise she would have it on her 24/7 like the original owner did. And I can’t believe that Darya would use it any differently than they (royalty) did.
Until then, it’s significantly safer to stay in the bodies that Darya met them in, their polar opposite behaviour making it hard for them to intentionally hide the existence of the Eye Stone.
Regardless of the off chance they could swap back, they’d still be stuck in bodies that aren’t originally their own.
