Money. Prestige. Power. These are truly the three things that matter to Rakus, and they are certainly the only thing that matters to him by proxy. Born and raised to a house of royal bloodline in the Kalos region, much was expected from Rakus at an early age. He was schooled on how to be a great public image leader one day, one that others would look up to, his charisma and articulate vocabulary and mannerisms being honed to a fine point sharper than any blade in preparation for when he was next to take the head of the family.

Rakus however got other ideas. Governed and edged on by an insatiable desire to have and control via greed, Rakus would leave the Kalos region with his monetary inheritance in tow, leaving right for the region of Johto. Using a large portion of his inheritance, Rakus would subsequently buy a plot of land in Goldenrod City, turning it into a fancy, 'high life' gambling casino and turn it perhaps into one of the biggest modern attractions in Johto (Much to the dismay of a few).

The casino would go on to be a natural success, although Rakus' innate desire of greed and to have more wasn't sated. Seeing how utterly easy it was for him to beckon the masses with his casino and his high-class attire and mannerisms, Rakus decided to use his charisma for bad, secretly formulating an 'underground mafia' of sorts within Goldenrod City. Petty thievery. Kidnapping. Burglary. Murder. It was child's play for him to coerce the poor and desperate into working for his gang secretly, all the while he kept a polite and professional public face to cover up any potential ties he had to the sudden crime spree in Goldenrod, which slowly began to spread all over Johto as influence and bribery took root in Johto's lower and middle-class.

From his 'seat of power' in Goldenrod, none expect the charismatic and handsome Houndoom man to be the probable cause of Johto's sudden increase in crime and instability. Rakus speaks, and the people listen. It's good to be king, isn't it? But surely, no king rules forever...

Additional Facts:
- Due to his royal bloodline, Rakus' horns are quite large and strikingly curved backwards. He considers his horns to be his pride and joy, taking good care of them and frequently polishing them. He also often calls his horns his 'crown' given their sleek and large size.
-Rakus' favorite form of attire is a tuxedo suit of either a dark blue or dark red color, alternating between a purple or a black tie to go along with it.
-Rakus enjoys smoking cigars imported from the Galar region. He says he enjoys the sweet aroma from them.
-Rakus is in possession of a Houndoominite mega stone. He wears it on his left wrist often times.
-For the sake of remaining anonymous and to seemingly have no connections to his gang, his gang members only refer to him as 'The Big Dog', and never by his real name.
-Rakus often goes for a jog around the city of Goldenrod every day just before sunrise. He also often does sit ups and various workout routines in his free time when not trying to keep his facade to the public. In short- the man works out! And boy does it show when his shirt is off~

I'm very happy with how this turned out. I've really been thinking about this character for a long time and I am extremely grateful for  GalacticHooves for making an anthro Houndoom base to use. I wanted to save on posting this for the right moment, and what better way than for it to be my first post of the New Year? Happy 2024 everyone!
