'Let's see how everyone is faring as the year comes to an end... for better, or for worse.'WOOF! Another big chunky story. Dayum.
SO! This one's been planned for... a really long time. For many years, honesly. In fact, it had always been a Christmas story until this year, where Max and I decided to make it a New Year's story instead.
This serves as a sorta-spiritual-successor to our A Little Halloween story, officially rounding out our universe! For now, anyways. You can consider this story to be an equivalent of a television show's season finale, if anything. Max and I still have so much more we want to do, but we felt it only right to cap off the year with everyone you've gotten to know over thee last several!
Going forward, the two of us will be expanding our universe with more of our characters and more fun adventures for them to go on -- and just like with the Halloween story, plenty of our as-of-now-unintroduced characters have cameoed in this piece as well. We'll be branching more into non-fetish territory alongside our usual tickle work, because we really like writing our characters as more than just tickle magnets. XP
We have a busy 2024 ahead, but for now, we're happy to wrap up 2023 with one last send-off from our crew. We hope you're eager to join them in celebrating the turning over of the year!
With that being said, this is officially my/our last post for 2023. We'll see you all in 2024 with a big announcement and more content! Until then, though...

I have long since accepted a certain law of the universe: if it’s made by you, then it’s bound to be good. Whether it’s a tickle story or just something to expand this incredible universe you and Max have, it’s always amazingly well-written stories that serve as inspiration to me and a lot of people out there. There’s a reason why you’re my favorite writer on this website. You are so much more than just a tickle writer, and your characters are so much more than just tickle magnets, like you yourself said. I don’t think I will say much more though, 1) because I can’t really put into words how much you, alongside your work, are amazing and 2) because this comment is already getting too long. Sadly, I can’t read your story right now, but I will definitely read it as soon as possible. Until then, I’m already giving you a favorite, both so I don’t forget and because I trust that it’s gonna be an amazing story. Happy new year, and may 2024 be a great year for you, everyone else you call family and friends, and of course, your amazing cast of characters!
But damn this was such a heartwarming freaking story! There was of course plenty of angst as poor Gully came to figure out how to come to terms with this new reality he’s part of, but seeing him finally getting to be exactly who he is, ah it just made me smile so wide! I’m so happy for him! The big sweetie deserves to be happy and loved.
Was also lovely seeing all the good things happening between Max and Selina and Rei and Molly too! Big steps forwards for them all, but very happy times ahead it seems. Love to read about it, love me some happiness like that.
And of course the interactions between the kids were a delight as always! This is the happiest I think I’ve ever seen Zer honestly, during that magic show section which is also always heartwarming to see. And it’s always so lovely to see Zach’s softer side, doesn’t show that enough if ya ask me. Plus a little blossoming romance between Ruby and Harris? Very sweet, very sweet indeed X3
Introduced some really neat and interesting characters here, Xander especially! Will be real great to find out more about him because he’s very intriguing. Very very interesting character. Same with Manticore, built a lot of intrigue and he’s definitely someone I’d like to know more about in the future. Although all the newbies were to be fair! All very compelling new additions to the cast roster I must say ^^
Also loved seeing familiar faces from other stories too like Arniel and Barry (totally not my bear bias there) and Lou and even Mateo, he totally got what he deserved by the way. I love how connected this world is, how you’ve both tied all these characters from different stories together into one big narrative. Makes it feel like such a lived in world and it’s done so well, it’s awesome!
All in all, this was just a fantastic read! Full of emotion, some happy some sad, and was just a lot of fun. And told some important messages too, some very sage things for everyone to keep in mind really heh. So enjoyable and great great work once again you two, another piece for you both to be proud of 👍👍👍
