Dimitri in the past was hopeless at dancing despite his mother being Melody Crownreef the world most famous singer and dancer he was hopeless at dancing while most of his brothers and sisters were good or decent at it even his father Ramus was good at it and as Crownreef future king danceing is part of a ruler skill set as it not uncommon for a King or Queen to dance either at their own events and parties or when visiting other kingdoms for their events he feel like a embarrassment and try to hide it while he learn how to dance however most of his attempts did not go so well that is till cousin Edelgard who was staying in Crownreef for a long time given what happen to her and the chaos that still happening in Adrestian Empire as well as trying to find the ones who taken and hurt her make it unsafe for her to go back for a long time come cross him and saw how bad he was given how strong their bond was at this point she feel the need to help him so being skill at him and understanding why he didn't go to his mother over this she slowly teach them how to dance and soon he was a expert at it you could not tell he was hopeless at it while he doesn't like to dance much unless he needs to he did find his time with Edelgard and is a memory he treasures dearly.
