I enjoyed the 'who's on first' type of situation going on in the early beginning part of the story. The temporary misunderstanding was amusing for both parties, and will likely make them feel even more attached to their partner's sense of humor than they already were.

I thought it was funny to do this, because the name Nick and the word nick can be played.
