Deepbellows are a species on the planet of Armawda that serve in the niche of a large herbivore. They are nocturnal and come in a variety of dark tones, mostly home to the Northern regions of the main continent, in the forests of the country Blue Forest.

They get their name from the loud and deep bellow they make from the sac on the back of their head/neck area that also serves as a sort of sensory organ. Mostly dealing in vibrations rather than noise, including the feel of the aether.
The males bellow sacs tend to be slightly brighter colors, especially in the breeding season.

They are highly skittish creatures that, despite prioritizing fleeing, will go on the attack if theatened.
These features make them considerably hard to domesticate, but is still possible.
