He really is going through every stage of grief. That howl followed by the crying makes me want to hug him, pat him on the back, and tell him everything will be alright.
This is a timeless tale. The themes of friendship, loss, and tragedy makes this a legend that can be related by anyone.
And this is just scratching the surface. What makes this, and the rest of Star Wars so incredible, is how vastly encompassing it is. The space adventures, laser battles, and visuals draw us in, but the elements of love, friendship, pain, loss, and hope have us leaving with a newfound sense of wisdom.
I can never say this enough, you are one of the most talented artists of all time. The quality has never faded and the talent remains as strong as ever.

The quality of this page is *wonderful*! It goes to show just how talented and what a hard-worker you are!
But awwwww, once again, poor Voolvif! He's gone through so much heartache, so much bulls***. It really isn't fair what happened to him. I can only hope that somehow, somehow, he's able to make it through all this, that he heals and someday finds peace.

Like a pendulum swings from one side to the other and back again. Such is human beings development. They repeat the same errors again and again in a never ending circle and hope is the only thing, that let us go on, although there is no reason to believe in hope... it only increases our sense of edurance to bear with the stuff that is going on arround us...
I'm sorry it's taken me a long time to get to commenting on this page, so I'll try and catch up with commenting on the latest pages over the next few days.
Your pencilling effects for this page and the two prior pages have been perfect for catching the shadows and the sandy texture of the desert, as well as conveying something of the emotional state of Voolvif, as all of the grief and anguish is conveyed in the howl though as it drains away with it he may feel both that with it has gone the last of his strength now that he'd let go of his anger, though perhaps also he's no longer quite so weighed down by some of the heaviness that might have settled on him if he hadn't expressed it.
On page 112 we saw the twin suns were setting with the second sun just now dipping below the horizon so that howl may have lasted for several minutes, so no wonder his throat may be raw and he's coughing. Though with the howl and that he's able to cry, he's allowing himself to express his emotions to acknowledge and feel them, not to suppress them or deny them, a sign perhaps that he will adapt, retain the core values and teachings of the Jedi while leaving behind what he must to survive and find a new way forward in a changed and darkened galaxy.
Thinking back to page 104 and seeing Pauouish Rahhdool and the tears in his eyes, perhaps that was also another simple but important message conveyed, that it is alright to cry, better to allow yourself to feel the emotions, express them and externalise them, not to keep it buried within you where it might fester and in time consume you.
