Years past, a nogitsune, Ikari, had come to the Manor, though it had not come to conflict. Rather, the sanctuary's matriarch had taken a liking to the newcomer. Over time as Yoshiko sought to ascend from a shadowy figure in a lone abandoned fortress to an ujigami, her powers grew to be tainted by divinity, spending time with the nogitsune in conversation and drinks.
Finally, one night the matriarch had found the opportunity and powers to purify the previously black furred Ikari. Once Yoshiko masked, reuniting with Yoshiku into a single body to regain her old being combined with the divine touch, she had beckoned Hidari upon the bridge over the manor's pond, purifying the ebony fur as dusk was setting.

In the aftermath, her hand had been extended and Ikari has been offered a place as Yoshiko's daughter, to permanently reside in the manor, until years later after a bout between the two flattened one of the valley's mountains and Yoshiko had offered the land to her adopted daughter.
