Well judging by his colors and overall pattern he is not just a black dragon - petty, quite villainous type that spits acid or something like this... But he is a shadow dragon with a mix of red if to assume that theory from a a shape of horns in his "true form"

Maybe! Afaleon is not a very canon dragon for the DND world, of course, because I fit him into his own history. I know that black dragons are usually associated with acid, but his signature color is purple, so I couldn't deny myself that purple flame. Thanks for your comment, as always!
