Eclipse, Avi and Kailani ventured far to find the perfect tree to choose for this year's decorating. "That's it! That's the one!"

Avi bounded towards the tall pine, and Eclipse followed right behind her, excitedly.

Kailani was excited, too, but a bit more reserved; she wanted to make this evening special - she saved her secret plan for just the right moment.

Then, they made it to the tree, except, when the three arrived there, Avi and Eclipse started to go nuts with the decorating, seemly lost in the beauty of hanging the bulbs and untangling the shimmering lights. The sun started to go down at a quicker pace, and blue hues graced the snowscape around them.

Kailani pulled out what she had been saving; some fresh mistletoe from their walk earlier that day. She took it in her paw, and held it up, but the girls were just too busy giggling and helping each other hang the decor on the snowy boughs. "G...Guys....M-Merry Christm....as.....".

Kailani started swishing the mistletoe above her head some more, trying to get at least one of the others' attention, but it was no use! Flustered and completely embarrassed, Kailani tucked away the mistletoe for a later time, once everyone was finished hanging the ornaments, and perhaps more relaxed for the night.
