RailwayFurs I thought I ought to mark the occasion -- though if you like you can imagine your favourite railway fur at the controls! Apologies for the indifferent photo quality: there wasn't much light, I only had a teeny camera... and it was cold!
In poor weather on 1 December 2010, a London Midland service waits to depart Smethwick Galton Bridge in the direction of Birmingham (towards the camera). The front carriage is a Class 153; attached behind is a three-car Class 150 or 156 unit; I can't be certain which and can't remember.

Nor did I! But doesn't a pic like this bring back memories of just how cold it was? I spent hours on station platforms that month, and some of them must have been among the coldest places in Britain! They channel cold winds at the best of times, and when it's below freezing anyway... *brrrs*
