“You learn to write by writing, and by reading and thinking about how writers have created their characters and invented their stories. If you are not a reader, don't even think about being a writer.” - Jean M. Auel

it was... my favorite was the -400. it was a true ballerina. I was flight mechanic on one, and dang if it didn't take a lightning strike. I heard the explosion, saw the flash, and woke up all in the same split second. First thing I did was look to see the #2 engine was still there. It was - never missed a beat.

The 87s though. Those are pretty nice, right? :3 (I'm infinitely partial to the 787. I helped build some!)
Ngl tho, designing a new aircraft is hard XD
No one wants to roll the dice on blended wing designs yet.
I'm thinking we'll get green engines before we see a radical departure from the tube and wing design~
Save for the people still trying to go fast~

I'm impressed... I worked with a fellow who was doing the center fuel tank in the B787. The engines are just huge.
I'm an old timer, though, I believe in always having a manual reversion. The newer aircraft do not have that, so if you lose electric and hydraulic, tough tooties. In actuality, the old B-707, and DC-8 were built so well, they would still be flying if the FAA hadn't regulated them out of the sky.
Cheers,
