Buck Brothers: The Birth of the New Captain's Colors Flag
Today in the Vexillogical Corner...
The 25th of November commemorates the day that the Captain's Colors was changed to the current flag.
Sheldon fixed the flag to make it less of a coat and more of an actual flag. The flag 's orange band used to be where the pockets of the coat have been and it was reversed to the hoist to the fly end to make the flag look more balanced.
To depict the flag changing, I animated my desktop flagpole to show the flag changing from August 15th, 2022 to November 25th, 2022. Animated at ten fps and thirty-five frames to make.
So as to the new and current flag, hats off to you, Five-Pointed Star!
