This is the first time I’ve seen an Alpine Sunbeam at a car show. This 1967 model was a ray of light in spite of the cloudy weather.

The paint is a bit careworn but aside from that it's a sparkling joy!
My Dad drove a Sunbeam Alpine for a short time in the late 1950s or very early '60s. I think it was a 'loaner' when his car was in the shop. One of his coworkers had one later (possibly the same car) and I would see it at company functions.
