Ethan is the adopted brother of Lyra and her father Posiedon Clearwater. He was actually in line to help rule the kingdom along side Lyra, when Xaviers Army came in and trashed everything. He was tortured and eventually forced to help Xavier to find lyra. Eventually he managed to break free and come to Kyles world. And evidently was in the right place, right time as Hiro was devastated after Terrisa had to move back to her home ending their relationship.
