This wonderful picture was a surprise birthday picture from the also-wonderful 
eliki, who I'm thrilled to have been able to call a truly wonderful (there's that word again!) friend for a long time now. It's posted with his permission, of course. When Ailee want something, she tends to end up getting it, which rather explains my concern at her beady eye having alighted on that delicious muffin. Possibly I could paint some stripes on it and persuade her it was actually a puffin. Or possibly not. =:P
