I've written a new story that's a direct follow up of the previous one from last Thursday prompt featuring Felix (before his transformation), Kira (pictured here), Ochil, and Rhelki. After finishing the text I decided to do two images for it. This is the first one and I'll be posting the story once I get the other one done.
The color here was kind of an experiment to give a sort of storybook feel to it and I am super happy with how it came out.

She actually came about because I was messing around with Sable Diffusion about a year ago to kind of see what AI art could do. I was trying to get it to generate a picture with a cheetah and a fox (my two favorite animals), but it kept combining them into one. I was kind of amused by it (and some of them looked decent) so I decided to flesh out the concept into her own character (and then completely forgot about her until a few weeks ago during inktober).
I tried it out on DALL-E 3, my prompt was two characters dancing a female fox wearing a black satin dress and a male cheetah wearing a tuxedo, the first attempt came out well with two distinct characters however her tail was through a tail-hole in her dress which drives me nuts. So I asked it to try again but with her tail under the hem and it came out...weird...a third try and it was better but the AI had swapped the characters species! Which I suppose highlights the benefits and drawbacks of AI.
I also received a content violation warning which just illustrates how overly sensitive ChatGPT is.

Yes the pictures weren't bad at all, but it's obviously still not advanced enough to understand what you're trying to tell it when a human artist would grasp it right away.
And yep, it takes a lot of the fun out of using it that it's so careful not to possibly give offence :/
